The Humanist Action League exist to:
- Unite, atheist, agnostic, humanist, rationalist, skeptic, and freethought students on the campus of EWU.
- Build a student freethought community that promotes critical thinking, scientific inquiry, and humanist values.
- Defend civil liberties, church-state separation, and religious freedom.
- Perform service to the campus and surrounding community in the service of personal intergrity and human solidarity.
A Word...
The Humanist Action League is a free speech group on the campus of Eastern Washington University with the intention of uniting rationalist, skeptics, progressives, humanist, and other minority voices in the struggle vs over bearing religion and government. As open minded people we don't condemn unpopular opinions, and we offer asylum to those that others would wish to silence or opress. In short we are humans.
